Prateeksha Santosh pocketed gold medal for India in Asian Indoor Games
New delhi: At the third Asian Indoor Games, Maharashtra’s Prateeksha Santosh bagged the first gold medal for India by winning the perform category of vovinam, a Vietnamese martial art games.
Santosh had also won a silver medal in the fight category of the sport.
Overall, India bagged five medals from vovinam — one gold, two silver and two bronze respectively.
