BJP losing ground?
BJP is trying to resolve the differences between chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and Janardhana and Karunakara Reddy. However, the issue is seeing no solution so far inspite of party’s efforts.

The Reddy’s want to remove Yeddyurappa, making BJP’s efforts more complicated. The party, however, has stuck to its stand that there would be no leadership change in the state.
Both Yeddyurappa and the Reddys refusing to respond to attempts of senior leader s Arun Jaitley and M Venkaiah Naidu to broker a peace is only adding to the party’s woes.
The issue is posing a serious threat which may lead to a crisis destabilizing its government in Karnataka just ahead of BJP choosing its next party president.
On Sunday, Karnataka home minister V S Acharya met leader of Opposition L K Advani and Jaitley while several dissidents also met Advani and deputy leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj. But despite engagements, no breakthrough appeared to be in sight.
The crisis has seen political observers wondering whether BJP would be able to defuse tensions and save its government as its recent track record has not been encouraging.
